LEOPARD HILLS
Leopard Hills, built on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole and close to the perennial Sand river, lives right up to its name. From your hilltop sanctuary, you may be lucky to catch sight of a leopard on the hunt, a breeding herd of elephant or a few gracious kudu. Many species of antelope pass by within view of the lodge while in the reserve Africa's big game abounds.
With only eight beautifully appointed suites, Leopard Hills offers as much privacy as you could wish for.
Each of the luxurious glass-fronted suites has superb views of the bushveld beyond while air-conditioning and overhead fans provide added comfort against the African summer heat.
Even the romantic bathrooms that include double indoor and outdoor showers, have windows which open to a glorious views of the African bush below.
Enjoy the private verandah of your suite and the views of the bushveld while relaxing over a drink form your fully-stocked mini bar. Each room has it's own private rock plunge pool.
Back in camp you will find the highest standards of service and fine cuisine and not least of all a warm, friendly and fun-filled atmosphere which is the special feature of Leopard Hills.
Each day can be different as one explores the endless fascination of Africa's wildlife. Hippo wallow in the river. Crocodile bask on a quiet sandy bank. Overhead majestic eagles keep watch and at the water's edge and in the riverine bush are hundreds of different bird species. Out walking you will discover a few of the endless number of fascinating small creatures of Africa. These are just a few of the amazing encounters awaiting you.
State-of-the-art Landrovers, specifically designed for Leopard Hills, have individual bucket seats with fold-down armrests, ensuring your optimum safety and comfort. Early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in search of Africa's big game, are conducted by your knowledgeable professional ranger.
