LEOPARD HILLS PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve, situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, certainly lives up to its name being home to the leopard as well as the rest of the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Built on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole and close to the perennial Sand River, you may be lucky to catch sight of a leopard on the hunt, a breeding herd of elephant or a few gracious kudu. Many species of antelope pass by within view of the lodge while in the reserve Africa's big game abounds. Leopard Hills is approximately 500 km from Johannesburg and there is an airstrip for those who wish to fly in.
With only eight beautifully appointed suites, Leopard Hills offers as much privacy as you could wish for.
Each of the luxurious glass-fronted suites, with their own sundeck and rock plunge pool, has superb views of the bushveld beyond while air-conditioning and overhead fans provide added comfort against the African summer heat. Enjoy the private veranda of your suite, relaxing over a drink from your fully stocked mini bar.
Even the romantic bathrooms that include double indoor and outdoor showers have windows that open to glorious views of the African bush below.

Each day can be different as one explores the endless fascination of Africa's wildlife at Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve. Hippos wallow in the river; crocodile bask on a quiet sandy bank. Overhead majestic eagles keep watch and at the water's edge and in the riverine bush are hundreds of different bird species. Out walking you will discover a few of the endless number of fascinating small creatures of Africa. These are just a few of the amazing encounters awaiting you.
State-of-the-art game drive vehicles, specifically designed for Leopard Hills, have individual bucket seats with fold-down armrests, ensuring your optimum safety and comfort. Early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in search of Africa's big game, are conducted by your knowledgeable and professional ranger.
